The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Marketing Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Account Executive, Content Creator reporting to the Director, Global Social Media. This position will be working onsite from Miami. Position Summary: The Celebrity Social team is seeking a social-first content creator to ideate, produce, and edit content aimed at accelerating our growth and reaching new audiences. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of social media best practices, the industry landscape, and have creative skills in shooting, storytelling, and editing to elevate Celebrity's presence on social. Experience in cruising or hospitality is a plus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Content Creation: Concept, capture, and edit visual content with a primary focus on video and a secondary focus on photography and graphics. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and InDesign is required. User-Generated Content Curation: Identify, source, and repurpose on-brand and quality user-generated content across social media channels. Content Ownership: Manage the creative publishing process, including real-time, manual upload, or scheduling content in advance. Storytelling: Create content with a storyteller perspective, ensuring each step from shooting to editing elicits emotion and connection. Evolve content series based on performance. Trend Monitoring: Stay on top of industry and platform-specific trends (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest) and identify opportunities for our brand. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work across teams to bring ideas to life. This person will work directly with members of our creative team to ensure creative consistency for the brand. Travel: Be available for frequent travel for productions on cruise ships worldwide. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: Experience: Minimum 4-5+ years as a content creator with a strong understanding of social media and video content production. Experience working on social media accounts in-house for a brand or with an agency, with large scale brands and travel experience being a plus. Proven experience in brainstorming, launching, and conceptualizing creative content ideas for brands and influencers with measurable results. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and publishing platforms like Sprout Social. Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint (a plus). Travel Industry Knowledge: Passion for and knowledge of the travel industry. Visual Storytelling: Natural ability to tell compelling stories through content. Keen attention to detail in all aspects of content creation. Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain interpersonal relations. Experience in cross-team collaboration for story development and feedback. Critical Thinking: Ability to think critically, take initiative, and work autonomously. Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple assignments. Positive Attitude: Dependable, eager, respectful, proactive, and a self-starter with a collaborative personality. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
