Job Title: Operations Manager/Module Engineering Manager (Section Manager) Job Description Join our dynamic team in Phoenix, Arizona, where brilliance sparks innovation and shapes a promising future. As a Section Manager (Module Engineering Manager, Area Manager, Operations Manager) you'll lead a team of talented professionals in our cutting-edge 4-nanometer fab. Your role will be pivotal in driving the production of world-changing products, while embodying our core values of Integrity, Commitment, Innovation, and Customer Trust. Responsibilities + Lead module process and equipment improvements to ensure high-quality wafer production and delivery. + Collaborate with Process Integration, Manufacturing, Yield Improvement, and Cross-Module teams. + Elevate engineering and manufacturing excellence across departments such as CMP, CVD, Diffusion, Dry Etch, Wet Etch, Lithography, Metrology, and PVD. + Manage new production line setup, equipment troubleshooting, and resource planning. + Hire and develop teams of engineers and technicians, fostering continuous improvement and innovation. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including NIST, cGMP, FDA, EQB, and OSHA. + Drive defect, yield, and productivity improvements to meet business goals. + Coordinate with vendors for tool installations, upgrades, and maintenance. Required Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in an engineering field with 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry. + 2+ years of experience in people management and development (ideally managing 6+ people). + Experience in single wafer etching at 34nm or smaller (below 22nm even better, 7-10nm or lower ideal). + Experience working in high-volume semiconductor (HVM) fabs with 300mm wafers. + Proficiency in semiconductor tools such as CD-SEM, OCD, Inspection, and Overlay. + Must be strongly experienced within at least one module area and set of tools: CMP, CVD, Diffusion, Dry Etch, Wet Etch, Lithography, Metrology, or PVD. Bonus Skills & Qualifications + Master's or Ph.D. in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. + Familiarity with or work at companies like Intel, Samsung, Micron, Texas Instruments, Lam Research, Global Foundries, AMD or TSMC. Work Environment Work in a cleanroom and office environment with a M-F 8-5 schedule. Dress code includes closed-toed shoes and a bunny suit in the cleanroom; casual business attire otherwise. Training likely 2-3 months in Taiwan. We are considering applicants nationwide, as our client will provide some relocation support. Local candidates in AZ are ideal.
