Position Summary: We’re looking for a high-energy, relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to help grow Camp Muskoka’s reach across all of its offerings — from school leadership programs and summer camps to weddings and retreats. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building genuine relationships, understands how to align customer needs with our value proposition, and can create demand through personal outreach and strategic marketing support.

Responsibilities: Sales & Relationship Building

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across our core markets (schools, families, event planners)
• Reach out to prospective clients, present our programs, and secure bookings.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with schools, parents, educators, and industry contacts
• Represent Camp Muskoka at conferences, school fairs, and industry events
• Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid sales strategies
• Prepare quotes, negotiate contracts, and close deals
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Maintain detailed records of sales activity and client interactions
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction
• Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity

Strategic Outreach

• Help shape and execute sales campaigns that align with our marketing strategies
• Use data, feedback, and trends to inform customer targeting and outreach approaches
• Assist in creating materials and presentations to communicate the Camp Muskoka story and value proposition.

Marketing Support

• ·Collaborate with the internal team to ensure all promotional content aligns with sales goals
• ·Gather feedback from prospects and clients to improve offerings and messaging
• ·Monitor and report on lead activity, customer behavior, and conversion outcomes

What We’re Looking For:

• ·Proven experience in outside sales, client relations, or territory management (2 years minimum)
• ·Natural connector with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ·Comfortable presenting to large groups and nurturing one-on-one relationships
• ·“Batteries included” — takes initiative, follows through, and brings energy to the team
• ·Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
• ·Familiarity with schools, parents, or community-based organizations is a major asset
• ·Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly
• ·Experience working in education, camps, or youth programs
• ·Knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• ·Background in planning or selling events, workshops, or retreats

Perks & Compensation:

• $60,000–$70,000 annual salary based on experience plus performance bonuses

Our facility provides curriculum based outdoor education and leadership training to thousands of youths from May through to October. Our school groups and weekend retreats (weddings, church, corporate, private groups, etc.) operate spring and fall, while our summer camp program for boys and girls ages 6 – 16 takes over July and August. All of our youth programs focus on building confidence and teamwork. We are in the business of helping kids believe in themselves, welcoming more than 10,000 kids each year to our programs.
