About The Role

Peraton seeks a Senior RMF/ISSO Cybersecurity Engineer and Project Lead to serve as a point of contact for engineering efforts for the ArCTIC Lab and assist with Lab accreditation requirement packages as necessary.  Will also be responsible for the management of the contract team.  Location: Fort Eisenhower, GA.

• Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of the contract support to the ArCTIC Lab via subordinate managers, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Acquire follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility and supports new business development by leading major proposals personally, or through subordinate program/project managers.
• Has supervisory and developmental responsibilities within functional area
• Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.
• Assist with assessing, designing, developing, and recommending integrated security system solutions that ensure proprietary and confidential data and systems are protected.
• Assist with technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions.
• Interface with the stakeholders in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs.
• Assist with configuration, validate secure complex systems, and test security products and systems to detect security weakness.
• Validate and verify system security requirements definitions and analysis and establish system security designs.
• Design, develop, implement and/or integrate IA and security systems and system components including those for networking, computing, and enclave environments.
• Build information assurance (IA) into systems and ensure updates are deployed to developmental and operational environments.
• Prepare Body of Evidence (BoE) documents such as System Security Plan (SSP), Security Assessment Report (SAR), Risk Assessment Report (RAR), Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM), Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), System Software and Installation Procedures, Security Test Procedures and Software Application documentation, policy and procedures requirements. 
• Collaborate with engineering team for design and implementation to ensure RMF systems comply with FISMA provisions and DoD Army Policies and regulations for cyber operations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, management, or related field
• 6+ years’ experience in a production IT environment managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting service and network areas
• Experience in a production IT environment managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting service and network areas
• CISSP, MCSE, MCP / Operating Systems, Proficient: RedHat Enterprise Linux, SELinux, Solaris 8 and above, Windows
• Operation Systems Familiar: Debian, Fedora, OSX, BSD, IRIX, MEPIS
• Languages: Shell Scripting, Perl, C++, C, VHDL, Active HDL, Visual Basic, Basic, Windows Scripting
• DEVOPS Tools: Puppet, JIRA, Confluence, Redmine, Fortify, CVS, GIT, Alfresco
• O&M Tools: Splunk, Nessus, ACAS, Nagios, Ganglia, Retina, Docker
• Software/Utilities: WSUS, SCCM, Group Policy Editor, OWF, Security Center, JBOSS, PostgreSQL, LDAP, VM’s, XACTA, Office suite, PageMaker, Photoshop, Outlook, Sharepoint, Project, Visio
• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain Polygraph and MEAD clearance
• U.S. Citizenship Required

Preferred Qualifications:

• IAT Level II or III certification

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
