Job Description

We are looking for a skilled full-stack developer with expertise in Go (Golang), React, and Next.js to join our team. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience building scalable and complex member-facing solutions, with a strong understanding of backend and frontend development. You will work on architecting, developing, and optimizing high-performance applications while ensuring seamless user experiences. Knowledge of SMS integration (Twilio) and mobile development (React Native/Android/iOS) is a plus. You should also have some familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms including GCP and/or AWS.

Responsibilities 

• Supporting our existing products that are currently deployed and being used in the production environment
• Designing and implementing bug fixes and improvements for the current products
• Migrating the products to new languages and environments
• Research, pilot, and integrate third-party solutions into our product suite
• Working with Product and Engineering management to scope and execute items on the product roadmap, and ensure that solutions are delivered on time and on budget
• Participating in the complete software development lifecycle from requirement definitions to deployment
• Working with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, and translate them into working features and products
• Collaborating with the lead architect and other developers on the system design and architecture
• Working in an agile environment, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and close coordination with squad leads

Requirements

• 3-5 years of full-stack development experience
• Proficiency in Go for backend development
• Experience with React and Next.js for frontend applications
• Strong understanding of scalable system architecture and complex web applications
• Experience developing member-facing solutions with a focus on performance and usability
• Familiarity with SMS and voice services using Twilio for messaging and notifications
• Understanding of database design, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) 
• Experience integrating third-party tools via RESTful APIs 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both collaboratively within a team environment, and individually and self sufficiently on coding and architecture tasks
• Experience working in a fully remote, distributed environment 
• Familiar with scrum, agile, and iterative processes

Nice to Haves

• Experience with NodeJS and TypeScript
• Knowledge of React Native, Android and iOS for mobile app development
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST) and healthcare data

This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to meaningful projects in a supportive and dynamic environment.
