What is a Social Media Content Creator? We act as the liaison between brands and production to create performance-driven content that sells products in fresh ways on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. What makes someone a Content Creator? Social media savvy: familiar with TikTok beauty trends, influencers, Instagram, YouTube, challenges, etc. Knowledgeable in the beauty, lifestyle, and fashion industries Ability to write scripts for UGC videos, create engaging openers, and be comfortable in front of the camera What are we looking for you to do? Produce large amounts of content quickly, with videos that look like real TikTok videos filmed with a phone. Understand what "thumb-stopping" content means and how to create it. Work on various topics, creating clickbait content for subjects like food, makeup, clothing, skincare, etc. Support from editors is available, but self-sufficiency is preferred. Be a highly creative visual thinker, able to generate and execute great ideas, translating complex topics into engaging visual media. Pride in being inventive, imaginative, agile, and resourceful is essential. This position requires someone who is dynamic and open-minded about new ideas. We are focused on producing engaging social media content and are NOT looking for graphic designers. If selected, you will be asked to complete an assessment involving creating 1-3 video ads for our brands. Candidate must be comfortable commuting to Pasadena, CA.
